Program Description

Full Moon Ceremonies are a common practice in many ancient traditions. This powerful moon phase marks the completion of a cycle and represents abundance. It is an ideal time to surrender anything that doesn’t support your peace and joy; things that you are ready to let go of or release.

Jude from Biophilia interweaves calming sound instruments (chimes, ocean drums, rain sticks, etc.) throughout the evening. Christina from De La Sol Yoga will be your guide into the Moon Meditation in the exquisite serenity of the Japanese Friendship Garden. Timothy O’Brien of Midtown Music Lessons will play the handpan during the guided meditation.

Everyone will also take home a Biophilia gift bag with simple instructions for mindful self-care practice. Please wear comfortable clothing, bring water, a yoga mat or blanket, and anything else you may need to lie down and feel the grounding Earth supporting you.
