General Admission Hours of Operation

June 1st until the end of August:

Tuesday to Sunday

8am - 12:30pm

4pm - 7:30pm

September through January

9am - 6pm

Last admission is always 30 minutes prior to closing

General Admission Ticket Prices

On First Friday we offer free admission for guests only from 5pm - 7:30pm with last admission at 7pm. Upcoming dates: September 4th, October 12th, November 16th. We do charge our regular admission prices the rest of the day before the event. We briefly close early, at 4pm, on First Friday before reopening at 5pm.

The Japanese Friendship Garden will close early for Yokai Night on October 30th.

The Japanese Friendship Garden will be closed to General Admission for Otuskimi on November 20th and 21st. Visit our events page to purchase tickets to this event.

All Ticket Sales Are Final. 

Tickets are non-refundable and must be used for the day of original purchase. Unused tickets may be considered tax-deductible donations to the Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix. General admissions tickets do not grant individuals the use of the Garden for photoshoots, video shoots, elopements, or private parties of any kind. If you are visiting the Garden with the intent of using our facility as a backdrop for your photos for any occasion, with any type of camera including smartphones, this is considered a photoshoot. 

JFG members, AHS reciprocal members, and guest pass holders do not need to reserve general admission in advance. If members are bringing additional guests beyond what is outlined in their membership benefits, those individuals should purchase admission online in advance to guarantee their ticket rate and space at the Garden on that day. Last admission is 30 minutes prior to closing.

Seniors, students, and military guests should be prepared to show ID along with their ticket upon entry.
