Program Description
Want to learn Japanese culture? Practice your Japanese language skills? Or just connect with other people who have your same interests? Our Cool Nihongo gatherings are the perfect place for anyone captivated by Japan, Japanese, and or just the customs and celebrations of a culture outside their own.
In March, we are inviting a special guest, Kolesar Sensei, who will share her unique cultural experiences and knowledge with you during the class! Caitlyn Kolesar has been teaching Japanese in Arizona public high schools for over ten years. She created a program in Dysart district in 2012 and then brought Japanese to Betty Fairfax High School in 2017. She has hosted an exchange program at Valley Vista High School, called Kakehashi, and regularly takes students to Japan over summers through EF Tours.
Kolesar-sensei is very passionate about Japanese language and culture and loves to share it with everyone.
