The Japanese Friendship Garden of Phoenix invites you to our Annual Bonsai & Pottery Exhibit sponsored by the Phoenix Bonsai Society and local Arizona pottery artists.
The word "Bonsai" is a Japanese term, which translates to "planted in a container” and is the horticultural practice of placing trees in pots and keeping them miniature through special techniques.
Guests will not only view beautiful and authentic Japanese art forms by bonsai enthusiasts and talented potters, but visitors will also learn about the philosophy of bonsai and various styles of Japanese artform.
Enjoy beautiful Japanese arts that embellish the serenity of our Japanese Garden in the middle of downtown Phoenix through this exhibit.
